Chris MacCormack, our October Featured Artist of the Month, is a retired language teacher with a passion for art. Her career included public, private, and college teaching assignments in Tampa, Bradenton, and over 10 countries, including Latin America, Turkey, and Thailand. She has taken classes with many local artists and enjoys learning and experimenting.

Chris strives to capture the beauty she sees in nature, people, the sea, and the sky. Her overseas trips have inspired many of her paintings and provided her with the time to dedicate herself to painting. She is very appreciative of the opportunity to display her artwork, which includes acrylics, watercolors, and gyotaku fish prints.
